What are some of things that make Curly dislike Lennie?
Some of the things that make Curly dislike Lennie is that Lennie is bigger then him. Another reason is because George takes up for Lennie when Curly says anything to him. Finally Curly doesn’t like Lennie because Lennie is the new guy at the farm. In conclusion Curly has to prove himself to the others guys at the farm so he starts a fight with the biggest guy there.
What does the dog mean when it dies?
The dog in the story means life. When he dies his owner Candy dies also. The old man didn’t die physically but emotionally. The dog was keeping the old man alive. When the dog had got hurt the old man did too. They helped each other in so many ways.
